Latest Testing Results - Vehicle Global Acceleration Completely Eliminated by Lightweight Linear Rocket Motor System

Recent final system testing at Radnor Range in Wales has demonstrated clearly that the complete autonomous Vehicle Global Acceleration Mitigation (VGAM) system is fully effective in eliminating vehicle global acceleration without any assistance from heavy ballistic mass ejection systems.

Previous testing had already demonstrated the adjustable response capability of the system, the motor not firing for small charges representing hand grenades or anti-personnel mines. This adjustable response capability does not require any safety critical software.

The novel, patented Linear Rocket Motor (LRM) system has been developed to initiate sufficiently fast and generate impulse sufficiently quickly to counteract the mine blast lifting forces before the vehicle leaves the ground, thus completely eliminating this threat to the vehicle occupants.
